Introduction

Just Ecology was established in 1998 by our Managing Director, Dr.Jeff Kirby, who by that time had developed a world reputation for his science, particularly within the field of ornithology. Just Ecology very quickly developed an excellent reputation within the science, policy and research disciplines, winning very significant national and international research projects. This, along with Dr.Kirby´s own reputation, has resulted in Just Ecology attracting a very high calibre of staff.

Our consultancy now does as much commercial work as it does science, policy and research. This means we deliver a very wide scope of work, requiring that our staff are familiar with the latest advances in technology, the environmental sciences and environmental management; indeed the work we carry out often contributes to this. Our teams have a very wide range of expertise, ensuring that the advice we give is not only of the highest professional standards, but is also cutting edge, focused and balanced.

We work to very high standards and our responsible approach to work includes always seeking to limit our environmental footprint whilst providing a quality assured service.  Health and safety and risk management are key considerations in all of our assignments.  We are comprehensively insured and adhere to the professional standards established by our institute.

What is important to Just Ecology?
That our customers receive a high standard of expert advice and support, based on best practice, delivered on time, and focused around their needs.
